The count is now up to
seven baby fish. My parents found 3 more babies in the pond, and brought them into the tank. You're supposed to put them in a bag/bucket of water when you bring them in, and let them slowly acclimate to the warmer temperature, but my father just threw them into the tank. I'm not getting too attached, in case they get too stressed by the dramatic water change and die. However, I'm once again looking for name requests. Again, to recap, we have: Orangey, Fishy, Seamus, Akira, Shakira, Johnny, and Sushi.
I had a pretty good weekend. Except for Friday - that was still pretty lame. I forgot to tell you, though, that I 'won' a gift (everyone got something, so it wasn't really 'winning'). It was a tiny, pager-sized screwdriver set. It was probably the worst prize there. Some of the better prizes was wine, a giant Costco-esque roll of Saran Wrap, and a year's supply of laundry detergent.
Otherwise, Saturday was spent doing.. not much. Oh, I rekindled my love for
Riven and downloaded a walkthrough so I could go through the whole thing. My father and I played it years back, but got stuck, and never got back to it. I always like having hints or a walkthrough with me when I play an RPG. I enjoy solving the puzzles and what not, but, let's face it, I'm not smart enough to get some of them. So, I stayed up until 3am on Saturday night, though I still haven't finished it.
Sunday was spent running the roads with Sarah. I got a Rotary Tool set for my father for his birthday. I don't really know what that is, but I know he bid on one at an auction. Also, Sarah made a
dee-lish roast chicken, with lemon and garlic stuffed up it's bum (or down it's neck... Not sure how that works..). Anyway, it was mighty tasty. We had 99 cent pudding cake for dessert. Hot damn!
As I know you're all waiting for it, the next volme of A Nine-Year Old Me will be coming shortly. I decided to skip forward in time a little bit, as I'm sure we've played out the drama that was Luke and Leeann.
